Networking/Research/Outreach
The College of Health Professions provides opportunities for students and faculty to network in the community through research and service.The Rho Theta Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International was recently awarded the International Research Advancement Award for establishing the Northern Kentucky Nursing Research Collaborative. This collaborative was designed to advance nursing research by linking hospitals and medical practices with local universities and schools.
The College of Health Professions is also a partner in the Nurse Advocacy Center for the Underserved, which is working to improve the health of the underserved in the Northern Kentucky region by reducing health disparities.
